Custom-built bikes

Reliability and individual fit are the alpha and omega of our approach. To consistently deliver par excellence customised bikes, we recognise the need for both technical perfection as well as a clear vision of the unison between the bike and the specific rider.

The desired bicycle specs, ergonomics, the rider's nature and disposition are taken into account during each and every step of the customisation process.

Over the years, we have recognised the highly individual approach as the key factor behind our success, so we continue to develop and engage this approach to best meet our customers' requirements.

The bike you ride speaks for you, as well as with you. We build bikes that speak your language.

The build technologies

Every year brings a new wave of material and manufacturing technology innovations (titanium alloys and composite materials in particular), in this area, we do our best to keep well ahead of the rest.

We actively maintain personal contact with the leading innovators in the field, by attending key technology workshops at Klein (Garry Klein), training sessions by the legendary Horst Leitner (with his ingenious AMP), Paul Turner's workshops, and by taking part in numerous training and biking events in the USA.

The one thing Bicycle Café customers are deprived of, is hearing the word „impossible“.

We can custom build to target weight, realise „tuning“ styles in titanium or carbon fibre composites (including custom‑made accessories) and deliver with quality air‑brush art‑work finishing.

We can source any part or component from anywhere around the world, regardless of the name or fame.

Sourcing of non-standard components is standard treatment for our customers (for example longer cranksarms, internal-gear hubs, power cranks, etc.).

For every conceivable bike component, we offer a wide range of choices in every pricing category.
